Make March Meaningful brings local businesses and the community together to raise funds and awareness for children’s health in Arizona, while supporting the Hope Fund. The Hope Fund is the most flexible and valuable way donors can support Phoenix Children’s Hospital, allowing us to meet new challenges and take advantage of opportunities as they arise. The Hope Fund helps us launch critical new programs, purchase essential equipment, conduct cutting-edge research, provide charitable care, and much more.

Where to eat

California Pizza Kitchen (Biltmore location)

During the month of March, CPK will be donating proceeds from their white corn guacamole, selling HOPE bracelets for $1 as well as Phoenix Children’s hand icons.

Chipotle

On March 13, all Arizona restaurant locations will donate 50% of your order when you mention Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Dairy Queen

March 20 is Free Cone Day at Dairy Queen. DQ is offering a free small-sized regular soft served cone and encouraging customers to make a donation. In addition to Free Cone Day; at participating locations, customers can also roundup their total transactions with the extra monies being donated to Phoenix Children’s.

Filiberto’s

All restaurant locations will donate $500 to Phoenix Children’s in addition to asking customers for donations of $1 or more at the register during the entire month of March.

Hungry Howie’s Pizza

March 11-April 11 is Hungry Howie’s Pizza With a Heart campaign. Heart-shaped pizzas will be made upon request on March 11. Through April 11, any customer that donates $2 will receive a free Howie Bread coupon. A $10 donation will give the customer a free large one topping pizza.

IHOP

March 7 is National Pancake Day at all IHOP restaurant locations. IHOP is serving a FREE short stack of their famous buttermilk pancakes all day and encouraging customers to make a donation.

Jersey Mike’s Subs

On Wednesday, March 29 Jersey Mike’s Subs will hold a Day of Giving and donate 100% of ALL sales to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Be sure to stop by and every cent from your purchase will go towards the Hospital. In addition to the Day of Giving, customers can make a donation at the register throughout the month at any of the 25 Valley locations.

Ocean Poke Co.

Their new location on Indian School & 36th Street will be donating a portion of their proceeds on March 31 to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Panda Express

All Panda Express restaurant locations are accepting change donations through their collection box or encouraging customers to round up their total transactions with the extra monies being donated to Phoenix Children’s.

Papa John’s Pizza

All month long Papa John’s will donate $1 from their Mike Smith “Smitty Special” to Phoenix Children’s.

Portillo’s

Be sure to stop by any of the two locations in the Valley on March 22nd from 11a – 9p and mention Phoenix Children’s. Portillo’s will donate 20% of your transaction to Phoenix Children’s.

Zoyo Neighborhood Yogurt

Visit Zoyo Neighborhood Yogurt location all month long and try the featured Make March Meaningful flavor of the month, Mint Madness. Zoyo will be collecting donations for Phoenix Children’s. When you make a donation of $5 or more, you will receive a special Phoenix Children’s Hospital HOPE bracelet and a free 16oz yogurt.

Shop Kohl’s Cares Dr. Seuss books and stuffed animals for just $5. 100% of proceeds will benefit Phoenix Children’s and the KohlsFit program.

Big O Tires

If you’re in the market for new tires, you can drop your spare change in one of the 4 foot tall fun change canisters. All monies donated will benefit Phoenix Children’s.

San Francisco Giants Spring Training

Enjoy America’s pastime at one of the San Francisco Giants home games at Scottsdale Stadium. Be sure to stop and say hi to Marriott employees who will be manning the concession stands. Proceeds from the concession stand from February 28 through March 28 will be donated to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Buy your tickets here.

McDowell Mountain Music Festival

GCU’s Run to Fight Children’s Cancer

The 7th Annual Run to Fight Children’s Cancer held by Grand Canyon University Foundation to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer will take place on Saturday, March 11. 50% of the registration proceeds from the 5k and 10k will benefit Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Register now.

Celtic Music and Microbrew Festival

Tee It Up For Kids

Free golf clinic for kids! We are looking for Phoenix Children’s patients to join the 4th Annual Tee It Up For Kids free golf clinic on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at McCormick Ranch Golf Club, featuring rotating golf stations, a trick show, celebrity appearances and more. Children must be between the ages of 7-17 to participate.

10th Annual Dine With Your Dog

Presented by PetSmart Charities, join us as we celebrate its 10th Anniversary with a Champagne Sunday Brunch on March 19 from 10:30am to 1:00pm at Westin Kierland Resort and Spa. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the PetSmart Charities Paws Can Heal Animal Assisted Therapy program. Buy your tickets now.

9th Annual All American Car Show

Desert Sands Corvettes present the All American 9th Annual Car Show on March 19th at Sands Chevrolet in Waddell.  This is a great event for both car enthusiasts and families with all proceeds to benefit Phoenix Children’s Hospital.   The Car Show will have food, fun, raffle prizes, 50/50, jump house, face painting in children’s area and admission is FREE! Car Entries are $25.00 before 3/19/2017 and $30.00 day-of, there will also be an indoor showroom display option for $100 per vehicle. Registration closes at 10am.

8th Annual Gym & Swim Festival

On Saturday March 25th, Hubbard Family Swim School and Arizona Sunrays Gymnastics and Dance will come together for the 8th Annual Gym & Swim Festival. This family event will feature swim and water fun, gymnastics and dance classes, a bounce house, trampoline, local food and shopping vendors and more. Join us from 3pm – 6pm at Kino Plaza (13832 N 32nd Street) in Phoenix) for family friendly FUNdraising for the kids at Phoenix Children’s.

Second Chance Prom

Enjoy an evening out at VIVA: A Valley Kids Foundation Benefit is one of the premiere fundraising events for Valley Philanthropists. The 23rd annual VIVA is a semi-formal event featuring casino-style gaming, live entertainment, silent auction and raffles, dancing and more. Other Ways to Make March Meaningful

American Textile Recycling Services

Donate clothing, shoes and household textiles at any of the 350 American Textile Recycling Service bins in the Valley. Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation will receive a donation for every pound of donated goods.

American Income Life Insurance

All month long, AIL agents will be asking for donations from clients (new & current). Clients and potential clients can also make a direct donation through their website.

Dolce Salon & Spa

All locations will collect donations from customers. For every $5 donated, customers will receive $2 Dolce Dollars. In addition to collecting donations, 10% of proceeds from specific services and products will benefit Phoenix Children’s. Be sure to ask for the PCH service when booking!

H&R Block

Need a little help this tax season? Not to worry! H&R Block locations around the Valley will donate $20 for every customer that mentions Phoenix Children’s.

Lyft

In March, $10 for every first ride will be donated and $50 in free ride credits will be given to new users.

Steve Trang Group | Stunning Homes Realty

In the market for a new home? Agents from the Steve Trang Group will donate a portion of their commission for every home sold during the month of March.
