This year’s line-up is one for the record books: Widespread Panic, Passion Pit, Thievery Corporation, Phantogram, and also Portugal. The Man. Widespread Panic has been making music for two decades, selling more than 3 million records and playing every major U.S. music festival.
Thievery Corporation is a D.C. based duo whose electronic music has thrilled fans through 7 amazing albums.
Phantogram, formerly known as Charlie Everywhere, has collaborated with Outkast and is featured on the Flaming Lips’ 2013 album. Punk phenom Portugal. The Man has earned a following of seriously devoted fans and you will see why at this year’s festival.
Held at Hance Park in downtown Phoenix, the McDowell Mountain Music Festival is the only 100% non-profit music festival in the state. That means all the proceeds go to benefit two local charities and Phoenix Children’s Hospital is fortunate to be one of those charities.
