Downright Beautiful

This Sunday, March 20, come celebrate beauty, strength and inspiration at the 3rd Annual Downright Beautiful Fashion Show.

Proceeds from the event will support the amazing work done at the Hospital’s Pediatric Down Syndrome Clinic at Barrow Neurological Institute. Hosted at the Warehouse215 @ Bentley Projects in downtown Phoenix, this year’s show will not only feature our very own patients with Down syndrome modeling the latest spring styles, but a special guest, actress Jamie Brewer.

Brewer is an inspiration to so many people. She has been a recurring cast member on American Horror Story since season one and last year she became the first woman with Down syndrome to rock the runway at New York’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Brewer uses her theatrical talents in conjunction with her spirit and strength working with local and state chapters of The Arc, the largest national community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. She has he also become an Ambassador for Changing the Face of Beauty and was the recipient of the last year’s Quincy Jones Exceptional Advocacy Award.

Downright Beautiful will be held from 11am to 2pm and includes a luncheon, fashion show, and fun. Buy your tickets here.
