What do you get for that music lover in your life who has everything? There’s only one answer: tickets to the 2017 McDowell Mountain Music Festival! We’re just two months away from the hottest musical event in the area.
The 14th Annual McDowell Mountain Music Festival (MMMF) will be held the weekend of March 3-5, 2017 in Hance Park in downtown Phoenix. This annual event is 100% nonprofit; the creators of MMMF donate their time, talents, and the money they raise to two local nonprofits and we here at Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation are honored to be one of them.
Since the first festival began back in 2004, MMMF has raised over $1,000,000 for local charities. The founders of MMMF are big believers in the 3C’s: community, culture, and charity. We’re very grateful that once again, MMMF has chosen to help Phoenix Children’s Hospital continue to provide world-class medical care to children and their families from the Valley and beyond.
This year’s MMMF will carry on the tradition of bringing amazing national and local acts right to Phoenix. Visit on Friday and you’ll be treated to indie rockers The Shins (“New Slang” and “Simple Song“), Grouplove (“Tongue Tied” and “Welcome to Your Life”), and Grammy nominee Bob Moses (“Tearing Me Up”):
And Sunday’s bands include southern rockers Whiskey Myers and newgrass jam band Railroad Earth:
Better yet, get a 3-day pass and you can see these amazing acts and more!
So, don’t forget to mark your calendars and get your tickets (and tickets for your music-loving friends and family) for MMMF on March 3,4 & 5, 2017. You won’t want to miss the magic!
