Join student leaders at Saguaro High School in Scottsdale from noon to 3 p.m., February 25, for their 22nd annual SSBTR Cure-A-Thon. These students learn about brain tumors and gain real world experience running a nonprofit business while raising funds for brain tumor research.
Beneficiaries for the money raised include Phoenix Children’s, Barrow Neurological Institute, National Brain Tumor Society, Translational Genomics Research Institute and University of Arizona.
Gates open at 11:30 a.m. You will want to arrive early to ensure your space for opening ceremonies at noon. You will also have the opportunity to walk around and preview the 200+ silent auction items. Visit ssbtr.org now for more information and to register.
