Leading through innovation

Just 30 years ago, survival rates for pediatric cancer were abysmal.

Today, 80% of pediatric cancer patients survive.

But the job isn’t finished until we reach 100%.

In addition to providing world-class care to our patients, the staff at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders is dedicated to discovering and creating new therapies to prevent, diagnose, and treat pediatric cancer.

Cynthia Wetmore, MD, PHd is the new Center’s Division Chief. With the appointment of Dr. Wetmore, we are cementing our commitment to revolutionizing pediatric cancer care, research and discovery. We are focused on gaining an understanding of the genetic causes  of pediatric cancer as well as testing modalities that will prevent, detect or destroy it’s growth.  Dr. Wetmore and her team need your support to fund clinical trials and research.

The next big step in making pediatric cancer a thing of the past.
