If Fido’s a foodie, you don’t want to miss our ‘fur-filled’ fundraiser for a chance to Dine With Your Dog for charity.
Mingle in cool air conditioning comfort this year with fellow animal lovers as you pose for portraits with your pet and enjoy a Paws Can Heal animal assisted therapy program showcase and fashion parade.
The evening includes a gourmet human dinner with wine, a gourmet canine dinner, doggone auction, doggie activities and more. Benefiting the PetSmart Paws Can Heal animal assisted therapy program, proceeds from the evening will go ‘straight to the dogs.’
Dogs really are man’s best friend. At the Phoenix Children’s Hospital, dogs are also a child’s best friend. The PetSmart Paws Can Heal program is an animal assisted therapy program that acts to encourage and inspire sick children.Animals are an important part of the healing process at Phoenix Children’s Hospital It aims to provide the emotional benefits of canine companionship to patients and their families as they face difficult challenges together. The simple act of taking a dog for a walk or playing fetch can offer a suffering child a few moments of refuge as they work through their therapy and can focus on moving home.
We invite you to join us in our fundraising efforts by becoming a 2015 Dine With Your Dog event sponsor and/or making an in-kind contribution of products and services. All proceeds benefit the PetSmart Paws Can Heal therapy program at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. With your donations, we can continue to maintain and run this invaluable service for sick children in need.
Please be a part of the 8th annual Dine With Your Dog event as we wine and dine with our pampered pooches on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 5 p.m. at the air conditioned Pavilion at the PERA Club in Tempe.
If you’ve ever loved a dog (or been loved by a dog) and want to help sick children in need of some canine companionship, please join some fabulous dog lovers and their friends in supporting this great cause. Your gift(s), along with the gifts of others, will allow us to continue providing world class care to the children who need it most.
On behalf of the children and families, we extend our deepest gratitude for your support. See you April 11th!
