Addison is doing very well! She hasn’t had another seizure or needed another brain surgery. She continues to receive care at Phoenix Children’s, and they will continue to support her journey as she gets older. Addison says her favorite things at Phoenix Children’s are all the kind doctors and telling her story as a Patient Ambassador. She enjoys dancing, reading, and arts and crafts.

Diagnosis: Severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) that affected her whole right side
Philanthropic programs: Child Life, Art Therapy, Animal-Assisted Therapy and Spiritual Care
Alicia is thriving! She is very close to walking on her own and has gotten her full vision back. She hasn’t had any seizures, and both her speech and her mobility have come a long way. Alicia continues to receive all her care at Phoenix Children’s, and her favorite things there are Checkers (one of the therapy dogs) and her team of therapists. She enjoys going to the arcade and the Science Center, swimming, and watching football players practice at Ability 360.

Samantha is feeling good! Because Crohn’s is a chronic illness, she and her family appreciate all the good days. She continues to receive care at Phoenix Children’s. During her hospital stay, Samantha loved how Phoenix Children's brought everyday life experiences to her, including art therapy, books, movie night, animal-assisted therapy and even Junior Homecoming! Samantha loves painting, making matcha, school and now public speaking.

Vivian is flourishing and is full of life! Her family is blessed to share every milestone with her. Vivian continues to receive care at Phoenix Children’s and loves being a part of Ignite Hope every December. Her family puts together a team called “Vivian’s Village” to raise money and spread holiday cheer. She is a huge Bluey fan and loves swimming.

Daniel’s family continues to celebrate his legacy by sharing his story. They will be participating in Phoenix Children’s Spooktacular Sprint & 5K this fall and raising money in his honor.
