Gwen, 8

Diagnosis: Stroke

When Gwen went to bed with what seemed like a regular headache, nobody could have predicted how dramatically life would change by morning. Faced with a devastating medical emergency, her family raced against time and had to make split-second decisions to save their daughter’s life.

Gracie, 12

Diagnosis: Hypoplastic left heart syndrome

Before she was born, Gracie was diagnosed with a rare and life-threatening heart defect that would require her to fight for survival from her very first breath. Yet even against unimaginable odds, her family never stopped believing in miracles.

Diagnosis: Traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury

At just 8 years old, Easton suffered life-altering injuries in a traumatic accident that left his family fearing the worst—but through determination, hope and unwavering support, he continues to redefine what’s possible.

Jacquie, 9

Diagnosis: Sickle cell anemia

For Jacquie’s family, a phone call just weeks after her birth changed everything. As they learned to navigate a complex and unpredictable disease that could turn an ordinary day into a medical emergency, Jacquie has continued to face each day with remarkable strength and joy.

Marcus, 19

Diagnosis: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia

After years of navigating serious health issues, Marcus and his family were faced with another unimaginable challengea cancer diagnosis at age 7But even during treatment, he refused to let illness define who he was.

Diagnosis: Genetic disorder

Born with complex medical needs that led to years of hospital stays and specialized care, Brock faced more challenges than most children ever will. Yet no matter what he was going through, he had a simple outlook on life: “Best day ever.”
