2026 Advisor Summit Overview
In today’s evolving advisory and philanthropic landscapes, technical expertise alone is no longer enough. Phoenix Children’s is pleased to invite you to our 2026 Summit “Five Steps to Family Engagement: An Advisor’s Guide”.
Donors increasingly seek and are growing to expect guidance on how to foster meaningful engagement across multiple generations, how to build healthy and resilient communication patterns, and sculpt family cultures rooted in philanthropy. As families navigate the complexities of wealth transfer, behavioral finance principles offer critical insights into how emotions, biases, and family dynamics shape financial decision-making and legacy planning.
The summit introduces a practical, five-step framework designed to help advisors, gift-planners, and nonprofits navigate complex family dynamics and support donors in creating cohesive, purpose-driven family legacies. Grounded in behavioral science and neuroscience, this summit offers practical tools and insights for advisors to elevate their impact beyond traditional wealth preservation strategies to support families in aligning financial decisions with shared values and long-term goals. For nonprofits, this approach deepens donor engagement, strengthens mission-aligned partnerships, and how to strategically foster an intergenerational commitment to philanthropy.
As part of the summit, we will walk through these steps, pair each one with psychological and neuroscience findings and give examples and practical tips on how you can help guide families through this process to keep them fully engaged and committed to continuing to create an enduring intergenerational family legacy.
At the summit, you will:
- Build a toolkit of integrated behavioral science tactics into estate planning conversations to foster trust, transparency, and shared purpose.
- Master a framework for facilitating difficult conversations around wealth, values, and expectations using neuroscience-backed strategies.
- Engage in interactive sessions that provide practical tools and case studies to immediately implement advanced tax and planning strategies.
- Learn how to leverage philanthropic opportunities within the changing tax landscape to maximize donor benefits and charitable impact.
- Network with like-minded professionals who share a commitment to Phoenix Children’s and our community.
- Hear from Phoenix Children’s leadership to understand how philanthropy sustains the hospital’s mission and experience its impact through an interactive mission moment.
