About Doctors' Day

Every year on March 30, National Doctors' Day honors physicians in the U.S. for their dedication and contributions to their patients, their communities and society as a whole. The first Doctors' Day observance was held in 1933 by the Alliance to the Barrow County Medical Society in Winder, Georgia. In 1990, President George H. W. Bush signed a resolution officially designating March 30 as National Doctors' Day.
