As both a dentist and an artist, Phoenix resident Jerry R. Cox, DDS, has a deep commitment to creativity, compassion and community. His decision to include Phoenix Children’s in his estate plan is a powerful expression of those values.
“I've been so blessed with my artistic gifts and all my gifts in life that I want to be able to share that with people,” he says.
Jerry has chosen to make his gift in the form of an endowed chair. The Dr. Jerry Cox Endowed Chair in Neurology is held by Angus A. Wilfong, MD, division chief of neurology and associate director of Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children's. The support from the endowed chair will allow Dr. Wilfong to continue his work to develop innovative treatments for children with epilepsy.
Whether your passion is healing, helping or inspiring, a legacy gift like Jerry's is a beautiful way to ensure your story continues—touching lives, lifting spirits, and bringing hope to future generations of children and families.
