The Team Taylor Fun Run 5K is a 3-mile run through the beautiful streets of Arcadia in Phoenix, Arizona. This 11th annual event is open to all ages, so join us as we walk, bike and scooter for kids' safety and health.
Tune in to the ABC15 Telethon for Phoenix Children’s on Wednesday, April 12, between 6 a.m. and 10:35 p.m. to hear some of these patients share their inspiring stories and donate to help them get the lifesaving care they need.
Your donation makes it possible for us to provide the very best that pediatric medicine has to offer—and that makes a big difference for kids who are fighting for their lives.
Phoenix Children’s Foundation Legacy Society members are our most committed supporters. Each has included a gift to Phoenix Children’s in their will or other estate plan. They have come together to help fund the research that will lead us to more innovation, earlier diagnoses, less invasive treatments, and more cures than any of us ever thought possible. And that means a future where children heal, grow, and thrive.
August is Make a Will Month. If you’ve been thinking about updating your will or other estate plan, please consider including a gift to Phoenix Children’s. You can leave most of your assets to your family and reserve a small percentage to charity. Every gift of any amount matters to our young patients.
Susan Frank is a member of the Legacy Society. She’s also been a volunteer at telethons and radiothons, provided ongoing annual support and for 20 years, has championed children’s health.
In 1992, Susan moved to Phoenix to take a position at Desert Financial Credit Union. Desert Financial funds Phoenix Children’s 1 Darn Cool School, which enables children to carry on with their education while they’re in the hospital.
“I was surprised to learn that one of the most stressful things for children in the hospital is worrying about falling behind at school. Right away, I thought that was a fantastic initiative that I wanted to support. Because it’s not just medical care these children need.”
Please consider joining Susan as a member of the Phoenix Children’s Foundation Legacy Society. “We need to take care of each other, especially when it comes to children. If not me, then who? I would like to be remembered as a good person, a kind person who cared about others. I can’t think of anyone more deserving than those kids at Phoenix Children’s. It would be a wonderful legacy.”
A gift in your will or other estate plan is deeply meaningful but doesn’t have to be complicated.
