Heart Warrior Open

The 7th Annual Heart Warrior Open takes place at 8 a.m. on May 3 at Ocotillo Golf Club, 3751 South Clubhouse Drive in Chandler. Proceeds from the event benefit the Phoenix Children's Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).

This amazing tournament began as a way to raise funds to help pay for Jaxton Hansen’s escalating medical expenses. By the age of two, Jaxton endured three open-heart surgeries, the installation of a pacemaker, multiple cardiac catheterizations, and the placement of a g-tube. His ability to manage his symptoms and lead a healthy life to this day is a credit to the devoted medical professionals at Phoenix Children’s CVICU.

Grateful for the generous financial support that saved Jaxton's life, the Hansen family continues to pay it forward with their non-profit organization, Jaxton's Heart Warriors, which holds the Heart Warrior Open each year to raise funds for Phoenix Children's, raising over $50,000.

Spots for the tournament are filling up fast! A team of four can sign up for $800. Businesses can connect with local golfers by sponsoring a hole for $1250 or a banner sponsorship for $3000.
