Get ready for Rae’s 4th annual Hike For Hearts, a family-friendly event benefiting Phoenix Children’s Center for Heart Care! During this event, families and the community join together in the beautiful setting of Thunderbird Conservation Park in north Glendale in support of RaeRae of Light and Phoenix Children’s Center for Heart Care.

The hike is approximately 45 minutes on an easy to moderate trail—a great option for families and pets! Enjoy coffee and donuts prior to the hike, with water and snacks afterwards. You can also enter to win raffle prizes graciously donated by vendors and supporters. Finally, listen to a family share their journey about the devastation of congenital heart defects and how your support has allowed them to focus on their child and ease some of the burdens they face.

Registration is $35 and includes a T-shirt for in-person hikers. Participants can also join virtually.

*RaeRae of Light is a volunteer-based, family-operated nonprofit founded in 2020 in memory of baby Reagan, who was born with a critical congenital heart defect and passed away at only 6 months old. The Rae It Forward™ – Direct Family Support program supports children and families battling CHD by assisting with medical expenses, household needs, utilities, gas, food, clothing, and other family needs. The nonprofit also creates awareness by promoting the Arizona Congenital Heart Defect specialty license plate that directly funds CHD research at Phoenix Children’s Center for Heart Care.
