A record-breaking success! Thank you, sponsors and supporters!
Guests had a ball for a great cause at the 26th Annual Beach Ball, a Phoenix Children’s Hospital fundraising tradition. This year’s theme was “Party in the Panhandle”.
Over the last 26 years, Beach Ball has raised nearly $20 million in total, and is a vital source of funding for the Hospital.
This year the Phoenix Thunderbirds were recognized for their longtime, loyal support with the Dr. Herbert J. and Julie Louis “Spirit of Hope” Award. Donations from the Thunderbirds over the years exceed $2.5 million.
“We are so grateful for the Thunderbirds’ support — from the launch of Phoenix Children’s to the present.” said Steve Schnall, Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer for Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation. “Their history with the Hospital and the many projects they have supported through the decades enrich our programs and facilities and have helped us to build a world class pediatric hospital.”
